CINDY ALLEN brings more than 25 years of experience as a successful trial lawyer to the Norman and Purcell Law Firm of Allen & Mills. Cindy’s practice focuses on High-Asset and High-Conflict Divorce and Child Custody matters. Many of Cindy’s cases often involve ownership of businesses, division of retirement accounts, and support alimony awards. Having received the top award in law school for her class on pension and retirement law, Cindy will ensure that your retirement is divided fairly during the divorce process.

Cindy brings her extensive knowledge as a trial lawyer in divorce litigation to her Mediation practice. She is one of the most successful mediation lawyers in the OKC metro area, settling over 90% of all Mediation matters. Cindy’s vast experience as a family law litigator has allowed her to expand her practice to serve as a Parenting Coordinator working with parents who have high-conflict child custody and visitation issues.

Cindy Allen started her career in the Cleveland County District Attorney’s Office, working in the prosecution of Domestic Violence, Sex Crimes, Victim Protective Orders, DUI, and Drug cases. The wealth of knowledge Cindy gained during her years as a prosecutor provides a distinct advantage to her clients when families are dealing with these difficult issues.

Cindy also gained extensive insight and skills in areas of Child Support and Establishment of Paternity during her tenure as the Managing Attorney of the District Attorney’s Oklahoma Child Support Services Divisions (OCSS) for District 21.

In 2003, Cindy established a private practice, Cindy Allen & Associates, PLLC, where she and her daughter, Julia Mills Mettry, worked together to make the firm one of the most sought-after in the Norman, Oklahoma community. In 2016, Cindy was proud to name her daughter Julia Mills Mettry as her partner, and they established the law firm of Allen & Mills. Allen & Mills just keeps growing, adding Joshua Simpson as a partner who specializes in Personal Injury, Estate Planning, and Probate. More recently, Allen & Mills has merged with Christopher Lind of Lind Treadaway. This merger comes with a new Purcell location and a Civil Litigation Division.
